Primary Science SATS Revision |
23rd - 25th March 2009 The World Museum Liverpool |
For Year 6 students. Groups will see 3 different sessions within the museum covering various topics from the SATs. A full day visit includes time to look around the museum. Places are not limited but are on a first come first served basis. Book early to avoid disappointment. Contact Julie Foulkes for further details. |

The Nuffield Bursary Scheme |
July-August 2009 |
Aimed at students who have just completed Year 12 and who are primarily involved in Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics. The scheme gives them the opportunity to join a real research project with practicing scientists in any area of science, engineering or technology. Projects run for four to six weeks in the summer holidays and students receive a £75 a week bursary. Keep checking here for the application form or contact Janet Greig. IET Careers Fair |

Once again we are working alongside the IET to bring a careers day to students of the NorthWest. It is aimed at Year 9 - Post 16 students and is a chance for them to have a look at hands-on exhibits from local companies, universities and organisations in the fields of electrical engineering, Engineering and IT.
